Jayme Sandberg will read her book Total Solar Eclipse: A Stellar Friendship Story at 6 p.m. and stay to autograph books until 7:30 p.m. Paperback books are available for purchase at the event and also featured in the local interest section near the front of the store. The event features special guests and performances throughout the evening. Be sure to mention Adams Elementary at checkout so a portion of your purchase will support the Adams PTO!

Jayme will be signing books at the Branched Oak Observatory's Season's End Star Party . The Star Party is free and open to the public. You will have the opportunity to see Planets Jupiter and Saturn, view the amazing Andromeda Galaxy, the Ring Nebula, the beautiful Seven Sisters Star Cluster, and later in the evening, the Great Orion Nebula peeking over the southeast horizon All ages of stargazers will enjoy special programming and exhibits from 8 to 11 p.m. See the Facebook event here.

Adams Elementary

Jayme will read her book and give an interactive presentation to the 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th graders at Adams Elementary. Her talk will give background about eclipses, explore how Sun transforms throughout the book and give insight behind her journey to publication. There might even be an eclipse joke or two!
